"KTG Katana HAKUOU Iai motion model" shows various actions by switching the visibility of
three swords attached your pelvis, right-hand, and left-hand.
Adjustment of a position and the angle are very troublesome work,
but you can enjoy a smoother motion if you adjust the position of each sword according to a procedure.
Let's Challenge !
At first let's adjust the sheathing(the sword) position with the standing pose.
When a setting area of the HUD is not displayed, you push the triangle-shaped button, and scroll.

And Pushes the button of the "Sheathed 1" line and takes the sheathing pose.
When you want to stop pose animation, you pushes the
button of the control area.Click the Katana attached to your pelvis(The following abbreviation is "P-Katana"),
and choose [Edit] from a pie menu, and be in the edit mode.
Confirm that Pelvis-Katana is chosen.
Turn on [Use Grid] check box of the editing tool.
Choose [Tools] menu >[Use Selection for Grid] (short cut : Shift-G)
with Keep on having chosen Pelvis-Katana.
Confirm that a Ruler mode is "Reference" as shown in the following image.
Other objects can be adjusted referring to the position and the angle of Pelvis-Katana in this.
Click RH-Katana and choose. (A transparent "R" mark is linked to RH-Katana like the following image.)
Rotate RH-Katana while pushing the CTRL key,
and make the angle same as an angle of Pelvis-Katana.
Drag a cursor to the outside of the rotary dial, and put a snap on a dial,
then you can adjust the angle accurately.
Adjust the angle of each X,Y,Z axis of RH-Katana in the same way.
The angle of RH-Katana conformed to the angle of Pelvis-Katana in this.
Adjust the position of RH-Katana next.
However, the center location of Pelvis-Katana
is different from RH-Katana.
Therefore cannot use the adjustment way by the Reference + Snap.
Change the Ruler mode to "Local", and adjust by manual operation.
As well as angle adjustment, adjust the position for each X,Y,Z axis.
When the shape of RH-Katana overlaps accurately on the shape of
Pelvis-Katana,
Close an editing tool once, and push the
Then HUD memorizes a current position and angle.
When you push buttons of the HUD after this, you have to come out of an edit mode temporarily.
Adjust the sheathing position with the sitting pose next.
Push the button of "sheathed 2" line, and take the sheathing pose.
Push the button laid out in the right side of button,
and rotate RH-Katana.
(So, grip the handle of the Katana by inverted grip.)
Set the Ruler mode of the editing tool for "Reference", and overlap an angle and position of RH-Katana as possible accurately at the angle and position of Pelvis-Katana, in a procedure same as the standing pose.
Must not move Pelvis-Katana!
If you do so by mistake, start again from procedure 1.
Memorize a position and the angle of the "inverted grip" state by pushing the
button of "Sheathed 2" line.Next, adjust a position and the angle of the Katana attached to your Left Hand(The following abbreviation is "LH-Katana")
to RH-Katana that is finished with adjustment.
Return a grip of RH-Katana to "regular grip"
by pushing the button of "Sheathed 2" line.
Push the button, and display LH-Katana.
Pose by pushing the
button of the "Seigan form" line.If RH-Katana and
LH-Katana overlap each other, and be hard to select it,
check the menu of [View] >[Highlight Transparent]
(Short cut : Ctrl-Alt-T).
You can choose in "R" "L" marks linked to the Katana in this way.
At first choose RH-Katana to show in the following images.
And push Shift-G key to turn it into an object for reference.
Confirm that the Ruler mode of the Editing tool becomes "Reference".
Push Shift-G key after having turned the Ruler mode into "Local" temporarily.
This is a means to change a Reference object surely.
Adjust the angle and position of LH-Katana to
RH-Katana, in the same way as procedure 3 to 4.
(Of course must not move RH-Katana.)
